The University in Lusaka, DMI-St.EUGENE :

The University is named after Saint Eugene De Mazenod, who is the Founder of Oblates of Mary Immaculate (OMI), to which the Very.Rev.Fr.J.E.ArulRaj, Founder of DMIcongregation belongs. Currently the university operates from a spacious and well equipped campus at infrastructure in the Archbishop Medardo J. Mazombwe Campus at Woodlands, LUSAKA, and soon will add new campus 16 km from city center along Great Northern road.

DMI is here for not just education alone, but also for making a difference by molding the youth with Discipline too. A great deal of care is invested in bringing life in the campus and in the lives of the students. You can witness a sea of difference among the students of DMI-ST.EUGENE than their contemporaries elsewhere in the country in quality.

The university had become very popular among the other government and private Universites, parents, sponsors and students within the one year of its existence. The university operates in three shifts:

* Shift I - 08:00-13:15 hrs ,

* Shift II - 12.30 hrs to 17.45 hrs and

* Shift III - 17:50 hrs to 20:00 hrs.

Shift III is meant for evening programme studies where the duration of the programme varies from normal one. This measure is necessitated to serve the candidates who are already employed but who need quality education.
